College-Age Ministry
Who We Are
At Live Oaks, the College-Age Ministry is for young adults ages 18 through 23. Don't let the name fool you, though. We are NOT a group slammed full of actively attending college students. NOOOOooooo! We are open to young adults in this age group regardless of their past, present or future scholastic endeavors.
Job, no job, major, undeclared, mooching off your parents, relatives and friends, car, no car, just wrecked your car, pop, rock, easy listening, funk, indie, Barry Manilow International Fan Club Member, guitar player, flute player, bazzouki player, American Idol, American Graffiti, American Cheese...whatever - YOU ARE ACCEPTED. (ok - the BMIFC member is "iffy")
What We Are Doing
WHAT ARE WE DOING? Simple. We hang. We hang at each other's houses, at concerts, restaurants, movie theaters, sports events, under bridges, at craft shows (oh the fun you can have with rubber band guns and bedazzled sweatshirts).
We try to officially hang at least once each month though we like to run to lunch after church and sometimes meet for spontaneous spelunking. Look it up.
