ALSO, we will be right back at Wilbur the next Sunday for a 10 am New Years Eve service – Hope to see you at both of these
OFFERING TO THE POOR & CHRISTMAS BLESSING 2017. In the Christmas Season we have combined our special offerings in our desire to bless those in need. Through the GENEROUS gifts of our Live Oaks family we received $1,700 to give out to families/individuals who could use a blessing this Christmas. Thank you for giving!
REGULAR OFFERING TO THE POOR. Each week Live Oak worshippers are welcome to place a special offering to the poor in one of the two baskets on the aisles. Each month these offerings will be given to those in need. May we never forget the poor, but always be eager to remember them.
THANKS FOR SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER THROUGH CAROLING! THANKS to all who joined in remembering the seniors in our community and honoring them through caroling and fellowship! “Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.” (Leviticus 19:32) Lord bless you for being a blessing!
CHRISTMAS CARD BASKET ON BACK TABLE… Special thanks to Mary F. for providing a basket on the back table for church family Christmas cards. Make sure to use the basket and check it out today – there may be a card to you…!
CHRISTMAS OPPORTUNITIES… This time of year offers great opportunities for giving and service in our church, community, and family. Partner with us in prayer over this season as we seek to take faith action to be present when the church gathers, to be a partner with others in service both inside and outside the church, and be an ambassador of grace, giving, and generosity each week through Advent! “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21)
