WELCOME TO COMMUNION SUNDAY!  At Live Oaks we celebrate an “open communion.”  All who have surrendered their will to Jesus as Lord are welcome to join us in remembering and proclaiming the GOOD NEWS that Jesus won our forgiveness by paying for our sin through His death on the Cross.  Come remember and worship Him!

OCTOBER IS “SERVANT APPRECIATION” MONTH!  Please take some time through the month of October to acknowledge the fellow believers in our church who regularly serve you and your family.  You can write a note of appreciation, take time to tell someone thank you for his or her service, or give some kind of gift to express your gratitude.  “Be devoted to one another in love.  Honor one another above yourselves.” (Romans 12:10)  “Dear children, don’t just talk about love. Put your love into action. Then it will truly be love.” (1 John 3:18 NIRV)

GUYS BREAKFAST, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13th!  All guys of Live Oaks are invited to join us at Egg Crate, Saturday October 13th, 8 am for breakfast.  As always, this is a ‘light touch’ gathering where guys can enjoy a breakfast together, get to know one another through casual conversation and participate in a brief round table discussion on a relevant topic or question brought up by a member of the group. Invite a guy and come fellowship!

FAITH PROMISE FOCUS FOR 2018!  In light of our monthly “Offering For The Poor,” and our regular monthly giving toward missions and missionaries, the focus of Faith Promise will narrow for 2018.  We believe the Lord has given us the missional work of renovating, developing, and equipping our Hoover ministry facility for His glory in 2018. Currently, we are trusting Him to provide $40,000 more in addition to the $60,000 He has already generously provided these past few months!  Please join us in this faith effort by picking up a FP card and info sheet TODAY…  to join in faith!  Hebrews 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please God…”
