GUYS BREAKFAST, NEXT SATURDAY, APR. 13th!  All guys of Live Oaks are invited to join us at Egg Crate, Saturday April 13th, 8 am for breakfast.  As always, this is a ‘light touch’ gathering where guys can enjoy a breakfast together, get to know one another through casual conversation and participate in a brief round table discussion on a relevant topic or question brought up by a member of the group. Invite a guy and come fellowship!

EASTER IS COMING… MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE, APRIL 18 – 7 PM.   Come worship as Christ and His disciples did on that first Maundy Thursday of Holy Week.  In our worship we will put our faith into practice by following the Lord in worship, baptism, and communionIf you desire to give public witness of your faith in Jesus by being baptized, simply put your full name, birthday, email, phone #, and the word “Baptism” on a Welcome Card and BRING it with you to a brief baptismal class Sunday, April 14th in the northwest classroom following the morning service.  Please pray for this service, those who will be baptized, and plan to join your church family in worship! (Childcare for our younger kids will be provided)

EASTER IS COMING… WHO COULD YOU INVITE TO EASTER SUNDAY WORSHIP, APRIL 21st?  Invite family and friends to worship with us!  Join us for a Continental Breakfast at 9:00 AM.  EVERYONE please bring one large dish to share!  Following breakfast, we will worship and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus in a 10:05 AM service. After the service our kids will enjoy the Annual Egg Hunt on our church grounds.  “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.” (Romans 10:20)

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LOOKING FOR EASTER CANDY DONATIONS! The children’s ministry will be collecting Easter candy the next two weeks for the annual Easter egg hunt after service on Easter Sunday! Thank you for donating!!

YOU CAN STILL SIGN UP FOR FAITH PROMISE 2019!  Faith promise is basically an exercise of faith where we trust God to meet through us a real and practical need way beyond our ability to meet.  In 2019 we are trusting God to generously give through us an additional $50,000, over and above our regular tithe offerings.  These gifts will help us reach the following MISSIONAL GOALS…  $15,000 for Lawn/Run-Off Pond, and Fence improvements – $25,000 for Children’s Playground, and $10,000 toward city sewer/water hook up.  Pick up a FP card and info sheet on the back table, familiarize yourself with FP, Ask God to take you on a new faith adventure in 2019, fill out your FP card, and drop it in the offering box TODAY…   Each year God provides in AMAZING ways in response to our faith… Hebrews 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please God…”

REGULAR OFFERING TO THE POOR.  Each week Live Oak worshippers are welcome to place a special offering to the poor in one of the two baskets on the aisles.  Each month these offerings will be given to those in need.  May we never forget the poor, but always be eager to remember them as God does!


WELCOME CARDS & PRAYER REQUEST CARDS on the back table! If we don’t have your personal contact information or it’s changed, please fill out a card and place it in the offering box so we can update our information, or fill out a prayer card and our prayer chain will pray for you this week!
